This 17t metal cutting machine needed to be moved out of one factory and relocated to another.
Machinemove received a call from the client facing the problem of trying to relocate his machine over a 2day period.
An estimator attended site the day of the enquiry, he assessed the requirements of the client and deployed a team of riggers with the relevant equipment the very next day.
The machine was jacked onto machine skates and winched out of the building. A 50t mobile crane was setup and the machine was lifted on to the awaiting transport. Our team of machine movers then followed the truck to the new location and had the machinery placed into it's new position with minimal upset to the client.

42t ferry engine.
This boat engine is built by Wartsila UK.
Machinemove ltd will attend site at the factory in Fareham, where we lift the main block that weighs 20t with 2no 10t over head demag cranes.

The main engine block is lifted clear of the factory floor & landed on timber sleepers so the engineers continue with the assembly.
When the engine was complete it weighed 42t, Machinemove ltd then assembled a steel roadway.
The engine was the jacked onto a set of 100t machine skates allowing us to winch the engine out side the building

This particular engine was lifted with a 120t mobile crane and loaded to transport.
Destination Denmark where it was installed to a cargo ferry.
